Audio is the first word on the sign above our unit, and it is where Carology started. From a single head unit swap to the twin subwoofer boot build in the photo above, we design and fit car audio at the Swift Centre, just off Purley Way in Croydon, for drivers across South London.
Most jobs start with the screen. We retrofit wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto into cars that never came with them, either with a new head unit or a discreet interface behind the factory display, keeping your steering wheel controls and the original look of the dash. From there we build the sound: component speakers matched to an amplifier, sound deadening in the doors so the detail is not lost to road noise, and a subwoofer sized to how much boot space you want to keep.
Every install leaves the car looking stock. Wiring is loomed and fused properly, amps are mounted out of sight, reverse cameras and parking sensors are blended in cleanly, and the interior goes back together the way it came apart. Then we tune the system in the car, because a cabin is not a listening room and settings that look right on paper rarely sound right on the road.

Yes, in most cases. We retrofit wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto either by replacing the head unit or, on many newer cars, by adding an interface module behind the factory screen. Tell us the make, model and year on WhatsApp and we will confirm the best route for your car the same day.
Almost always, yes. We fit the correct steering wheel control interface for your car, so volume, track skip and voice buttons carry on working with the new head unit. Where the car shows parking sensors or trip computer functions through the stereo, we retain those wherever an interface exists for the model.
Not unless you want them to. Underseat subwoofers and slimline enclosures add real bass while leaving the boot completely usable, and we can fabricate a custom enclosure into a corner or the spare wheel well. Show builds like our twin-sub boot install are an option, not the default. You choose how much space to give up.
A head unit or speaker upgrade is usually done in a day. A full system with an amplifier, subwoofer and fresh wiring typically takes one to two days, and custom fabricated builds are quoted with their own timescale once the design is agreed. We confirm the timing before you book in.
Not when it is installed properly. We wire amplifiers with the correct gauge cable and fusing, and everything switches off with the ignition, so there is no drain while the car is parked. For very large systems we will advise if your car would benefit from an upgraded battery or charging support.
Yes. Fitting the equipment is only half the job. We set gains, crossovers and levels in the car itself, so the speakers, amp and sub work together in your cabin rather than on paper. You leave with a system that sounds balanced at low volume and stays clean when you turn it up.
