Most cars stolen in South London now go without a window being touched. Relay attacks lift the signal from a keyless fob sitting inside your house; cloned keys are programmed in the time it takes to make a coffee. Alarms scream and steering locks slow nobody down. A Ghost immobiliser attacks the problem from the other end: the car simply will not start until it hears from you.
The Ghost is a small unit buried in the car's wiring, talking to the vehicle over its CAN-bus network. Before every drive you tap a short PIN into buttons your car already has, on the steering wheel, the door panel or the centre console. Right code and the engine starts as normal. Wrong code, or no code, and the car stays dead, even with the genuine key in the thief's hand.

No added fobs to carry, no LED winking on the dash, no cut wires trailing under the trim, nothing for a thief to find, force or unplug. A Ghost is a small immobiliser hidden deep in the car's wiring that talks to the vehicle over its CAN-bus network. Before the engine will start, you enter a personal PIN using buttons the car already has, such as those on the steering wheel or centre console. No PIN, no start, even with the genuine key present.
Yes, this is exactly what it is designed for. Relay theft works by boosting your key's signal from inside your home so the car thinks the key is present. A Ghost does not care about the key at all: without the PIN sequence entered on the car's own buttons the engine will not start, so a relayed or cloned signal gets a thief nowhere.
There is no extra fob, no LED, no visible wiring and no obvious module to hunt for; the unit sits silently on the CAN network among the car's own electronics. There is nothing to cut, no signal to jam, and it does not announce itself on a standard diagnostic scan. Even adding a new key will not defeat it, because starting still needs the PIN.
You will not be locked out of your own car. There is an emergency PIN reset procedure that lets a legitimate owner regain access and set a new code, and we walk every customer through it at handover. Keep the reset details somewhere safe at home rather than in the glovebox.
Fitting is designed to be non-invasive. The unit talks over the car's existing CAN network with no factory looms cut, and its current draw is tiny, so a healthy battery is unaffected even if the car sits for a few weeks. Most installs are completed within a few hours, so it is usually a drop-off-in-the-morning, collect-by-afternoon job. Every fit is deliberately different, because the unit is hidden in a different place on every car, and that variation is part of the security.
